THE BACKGROUND
Recently opening in early 2018 in Marlboro, Massachusetts, the Apex Center is New England’s largest family entertainment centre. And This state-of-the-art destination features: Go Karts, Laser Tag, Bumper Cars, Arcade Room, Ropes Course, Golf and Sports Simulators, and a Bowling Alley, all under one roof.
With a large, new construction building, Apex Entertainment Center faced the significant signage challenge of taking advantage of the large blank walls in the new construction building and ensuring that each attraction was adequately branded and featured throughout the facility. THE WORK
When the construction of the Apex Entertainment Center facility was in its final stages, AMI Graphics visited the site to take measurements and determine the best signage solutions for the spaces and attractions inside this large family entertainment centre. Apex Center had a clear vision for how they wanted the facility to look and relied on AMI Graphics to suggest the best materials and signage applications for each attraction area.
With large, open wall spaces surrounding and within each attraction, it determined that adhesive wall murals and decals were the best way to provide Apex Entertainment with the greatest visual impact while keeping branded signage within its budget. Would be a good application.
Apex Entertainment Center provided the artwork, and AMI Graphics turned their vision into reality through print production and installation of facility signage with attraction-branded wall murals, decals and risk management signage. Full wall murals allowed Apex Entertainment Center to transform a large blank wall near their go-kart track into an eye-catching work of art. Custom-cut large vinyl decals for each attraction’s distinctive logo allow for a crisp, clean look to promote the attraction while keeping with the modern design and feel of the facility.
Result
The addition of branded facility signage helped Apex Entertainment Center finalize its state-of-the-art family entertainment centre. The signage solutions chosen are easy to maintain, and Apex was able to maintain a consistent look and feel throughout their facility while ensuring that their guests could easily find the attraction they desired.
